Work with me

Built from inside the work, not above it.

I have spent the last decade inside banks and credit unions, leading data and AI work with small teams and real constraints. I am not a vendor selling a platform or a consultant who has never sat with a loan officer who does not trust the model. If you run one of these institutions, or you are the data person inside one, here is how we can work together.

/ Speaking

Keynotes, panels, and conference sessions

I speak about data and AI leadership for community financial institutions, financial democracy, and why the smallest credit unions are the ones the industry forgets. Practitioner talks, not vendor pitches. I am most useful to rooms full of the people who actually run these institutions: operators, boards, and the data teams of two holding it all together.

Topics I speak on:

  • Building data and AI capability inside financial institutions
  • Leading data strategy, governance, and modernization with real constraints
  • Making AI adoption stick: trust, ownership, and the human layer
  • Financial democracy and the cooperative mission of community banking

/ Advisory

Practitioner-led guidance for small teams

Most advisory for this work is written for enterprises with budgets and teams community institutions will never have. Mine is not. I help banks and credit unions build real data and AI capability with the people, time, and constraints they actually have, not the ones a deck assumes.

The technology is rarely the hard part. Trust is. Naming who owns the work is. I help you get the plumbing right, name the owner before you sign, and build capability that survives contact with a skeptical team.

Where I am most useful:

  • Data and AI strategy for institutions building with small teams
  • Scoping capability and ownership before buying the platform
  • Governance, data literacy, and analytics a lean team can actually run
  • Modernizing the data stack without enterprise budgets or headcount
